“The grandfather got the idea near himself.”
There is a temple called "Koyasu Kannon" in the current Suzuka-shi, Mie prefecture. It is a temple where people visit to pray for safe delivery. Several hundred years ago, when the old man living hear took a certain morning walk, Worn-eaten leaf of unremitting cherry tree in the temple precincts caught his eye.
Since the pattern of the leaf was so beautiful, he brought it back to the house, and carving it by applying to the paper, and then he dyed to cloth. It seems to have been said that was the beginning.
